7 things...

  • mood: Muahahahaha!
  • grateful for: A new place! The moving's almost over!
  • quote: Orders is orders and cha-ching is cha-ching.
  • random: I'm hungry...Oops! I skipped lunch again! [sheepish]

Ok, I finally finished. I tried to put these in order of most important to least important but failed miserably.
Just skip down for the moving update.

The 7 things I want to do before I die.
1. Finish a series of novels (just one novel isn't good enough).
2. Become a published authoress.
3. Go to Israel.
4. Learn Hebrew & Latin (fluently).
5. Become a web-design master.
6. Reach age 30.
7. Experience marriage.
The 7 things that attract me to a man.
1-7. Not ready yet!
The 7 books that I love most.
1. Frank Peretti's This Present Darkness, Piercing the Darkness, The Oath, The Visitation, Nightmare Academy, etc.
2. James Herriot's books: All Creatures Great and Small, etc.
3. Patrick McManus's The Good Samaritan Strikes Back (and others)
4. Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice
5. The Dictionary
6. Miscellaneous reference books
7. Unpublished amature writers' stories
The 7 movies I love most
1. The Longest Day
2. Holiday Inn & White Christman (Bing Crosby movies)
3. The Italian Job
4. Singin' in the Rain (Gene Kelley)
5. Something in the Wind (Deanna Durbin)
6. Hangman's Curse
7. Chronicles of Narnia
7 things I can't do...
1. Be perfect (sometimes I really wish I'd stop trying--I don't have much hair to pull at anymore!)
2. Keep a straight face if someone tells me to (like in one of those silly contests)
3. Be normal...it just doesn't work for me.
4. Beat the Dynamic Duo at dancing (oh well, if you can't beat 'em--join 'em!)
5. Resist the impulse to work on a novel when reality stresses me out.
6. Wear my hair out (if it's long) without it poofing up into a poodle's nest.
7. The splits
The 7 words or phases I say most often
1. Muahahahaha! (note: run for dear life when upon hearing this sound)
2. Oooo!
3. Wow/whoa (said w/ big eyes or dry tone)
4. Ah! (ah-hah!)
5. Oops!/Hehe! (usually followed by a sheepish/mischievous grin)
6. Wha--?/Who? Me?
7. Nooooooo! Aaaaaaah! Arrrrrrrrrgh! Aaaaaaaugh! etc.
BONUS: 7 things you didn’t know about me
1. That I would ever tell you any of this.
2. I looked more Cherokee when I was born.
3. I was abhorrent toward dancing until the Dynamic Duo showed me how fun it was.
4. I've been a  writer since before most people could read.
5. On that note, I started reading at age 2. (I've always done better teaching myself)
6. I like to read the dictionary on occasion.
7. Um...that's none of your business!

Moving Update
The last phase of the moving process will begin this weekend. Mother (why don't I call her Imah anymore? This must stop!) and I will start moving in what we are willing to move (my sofa moving days are over). The moving guys come on Monday to move what we are not willing to move (& if they make me late for dance...the White Witch will look like Little Bunny Foo Foo compared to me! )
Then, we (Imah & I) get the pleasant task of maneuvering the furniture to fit into our new place. ("Look! I can hold the vanity with one arm! Ow! My arm!" Imah: "Yaffa, knock it off! You're going to hurt the furniture!" I feel so loved. )

It will never end. She'll move everything around in another month or two... [groan] Oh my achin' back...
3 shekel(s) thrown.
