First of all...Wow! I haven't blogged in a week!
I noticed that I didn't blog about last week's dance class, so for those of you who await the tantalizing details...I'm afraid you'll be sadly disappointed. All I can remember is: 1. I got there late. 2. At the end of class, Caleb showed me the design of the dance troupe shirts (I'm trying to figure a way to show it on my blog).
Anyway, at class this week, he told me the shirts will be ready soon--I get to see them next dance class!!

About class though: It was a very interesting class for me (particularly) this week. I was a little under the weather and got faint during a fast dance, so I went into the kitchen to douse myself with cold water and just rest. (Thank you to the concerned friends who came looking for me.
) I came back out to watch the dancers, but when they did Fat Man and Hinei Ma Tov (a pop version), I wanted to get up. But no-o! Caleb wouldn't let me (ok--Dad
). Fine, we did Fat Man once already that evening (it's a great dance, Caleb
) and Hinei Ma Tov can get rather boring. Then...the Riverdance! There was no way he could stop me from doing this one. Fortunately (for him) he let me. It was funny--as I danced, I got some energy back. (I remarked the phenomenon to Caleb--he told me not to push it. How did he know?) By the time the dance sped up, I was ready. Caleb showed me how to do it while linking arms (let's try that next time, Josi!). Of course, I finished with my signature kick-above-my-head move--in sync with Caleb (he's such a show-off).
Update on the Dynamic Duo vs. the Princess: I call a truce (if you can't beat 'em, join 'em). Josi showed me a yet another new move for the Electric Slide. I told Caleb about it--he picked it up--we did it in sync--it was great! (I still enjoyed his befuddlement as he tried to figure out what Josi & I were doing on Lo Ahavti Dai. We miraculously seemed to switch places behind his back! He was in the center--in the way.)
Update on scissors wars: Michael wasn't there, so I didn't have to worry about him. But somehow Caleb managed to gain possession of the scissors! He proudly brandished them at me. So, I pouted against the wall--extremely upset. He set down the scissors and came over to me. Ingenious plotter that I am, I positioned my foot against the wall. ZOOM! I shot past him and grabbed the scissors--Mine! Hahahahahah! All mine! Unfortunately, that sly Caleb snatched them away from me later on--right out of my hip pocket! (--where they stood like a gun in a holster; hehe, I felt so Western
.) Well, he made peace by setting the scissors down, making slow gestures of harmlessness, and physically putting me back on the dance floor (thanks, btw, Josi, for just standing there with a trying-not-to-grin look on your face). Eh, maybe because I wasn't feeling my greatest--I didn't have much coffee that day either--but I left the scissors alone.
Wait a minute...is this looking like Caleb: 2, Princess Yaffa: 0?
I WILL get over my poor condition!!
Well, I won't mention anything about the water fights I incited, the hostages I took, the near-death experiences I had (aka *implied* threats of bodily injury), the...strange...conversions I had about my future (let's not go there, boys)----because, after all, I wasn't feeling well.
