Move--I mean dance

  • mood: I haven't had coffee, and I'm already looney...Oh, that's right; sleep deprivation makes me looney too! Weeee!
  • grateful for: You know, I worked on moving for thirty+ straight hours? And afterwards, some old friends I hadn't seen in a while offered to help us finish up for the day AND then offered us dinner at their home (which we accepted). Yeah, I'm grateful for people like that.
  • random: Did I mention the desserts I've been eating lately?

I think I aged five more years....

Well, we got through the hardest part of the move.  And though I used to declare with pride how Mother and I could move ourselves (look, I can pick up the sofa! ...the vanity! ...the dresser!), my aching muscles tell me that the time for such pride is over. Dear God, I just want a massage! At least for my feet!

Despite the cries of my body (and my pride), I fully intend on going to dance tonight. My Plans for beating the dynamic duo of Joseph and Caleb must not be hindered!

Speaking of which, I haven't disclosed what happened last Monday at dance. Let me begin with *growl*.  I thought I told those boys not to read this--it was like a conspiracy! Josi and I did all this extra fancy stuff that we had planned--and the Dynamic Duo does extra extra fancy stuff! To make things worse, Caleb insisted on dancing with a large pair of scissors in each hand AND had the audacity to wave them in my face. When he finally did let them go, I tried to get at them. It ended up in both of us making a mad dash to get them from Josi's brother (who I *somehow* managed to splash with water earlier that evening--oops!). So, unfortunately, Caleb got the scissors back. That isn't all he's getting... (Well, since he thinks I might be ready for advanced dance class, I might go easy on him.)

Anyway, we all had fun. Josi and I agree that it was the most fun dance class yet. And--Oh, joy!--game night is this Saturday! I can't wait! That Curses game had better be there. (I won't pick on Joseph this time--I have some other people I want to get at...) Muahahahaha!

I must go fill up on coffee now so I can get sufficient insanity to attend dance.

Farewell!
